1. Information we collect
- Account info: name, email, and authentication provider (e.g. Google) when you sign up.
- Profile info: phone, city, headline and resumes you upload.
- Activity: saved jobs, applications you track, AI match results.
- Technical: IP address, browser, and basic analytics to keep the service running.
2. How we use it
- To run your dashboard and remember your saved jobs.
- To generate AI resume matches and career assistant replies on your request.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in, alerts you opt into).
- To prevent abuse and keep the platform secure.
3. AI processing
When you request an AI feature, the relevant content (e.g. your resume and the job description) is sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not allow providers to train on your data, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information with employers only when you apply or send your profile. We use service providers (hosting, email, analytics) bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
5. Your rights
You can access, update or delete your data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing privacy@todayjobs.ca. You can withdraw consent for optional processing without losing access to free features.
6. Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Resumes and match results are deleted when you delete them or close your account.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small amount of first-party analytics to improve the product. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time.
8. Contact
